Stepping Stones Friendship Group

Join Our Friendly Social Group!
Looking for a welcoming space to chat, enjoy a cup of tea, and take part in engaging talks and activities? Our group began as a Bereavement Group ten years ago, but we’ve since grown into a warm community of friends who meet weekly for support and companionship.

New members are always welcome!

Join our friendly class, learn how to use a sewing machine to make things for yourself, your home and your family.

All abilities catered for, no experience necessary!

Upcoming Events

ECO Shop

Every Friday - 1pm to 3pm

Join us every Friday for our weekly Eco Shop. Grab yourselves a bargain and help reduce the amount of food sent to landfill at the same time. Suggested donations are 10 items for £3.00 and 5 items for £1.50 and are available to anyone. All proceeds go towards restocking the Eco Shop and towards our Fairshare subscription. Doors open at 12:15pm for refreshments before the shop opens, so come along and get a hot drink and a biscuit while you wait. Due to high demand, we operate a 1 in 1 out system and provide each shopper with a number. So come along and pick up a bargain while also helping to create a sustainable waste culture!

Coffee Morning & Table Top Sale

Saturday, 12th April - 10am to 1pm

Marton Community Centre welcomes you to our Coffee Morning. Warm yourself with our selection of Refreshments and socialise with members of the Community. Entry is free and our refreshments include a cup of Tea or Coffee and a Bacon or Sausage Bun for £3.00. Looking to sell your items? Join our Table Top Sale! To book a table, please call the Community Centre on Fridays between 9 AM and 2 PM at 01642 322738. Tables are £10. Don’t miss out—reserve your spot today!

New to You Pre-Loved Markets: Find Bargains for Your Family! Looking for affordable baby, kids, or maternity items? New to You Pre-Loved Market is here to help families across Teesside. After launching in April 2023, we’ve found our home at Marton Community Centre and are excited to offer a space where parents can buy and sell quality pre-loved goods. Whether you're decluttering or need to refresh your child's wardrobe or toy collection, our markets are the perfect place to make or save some money! Got crafts or a small business? We’d love to have you as a vendor too. Entry is just £1 for anyone over 16, and kids under 16 get in free. Grab some refreshments while you shop for those unbeatable deals.
