Marton Community Centre offers a range of versatile spaces designed to suit a variety of events and activities. Our facilities include a spacious hall (Ayton Room) perfect for larger gatherings, two smaller meeting rooms (Hamish & Staithes Rooms) for workshops or group meetings, and a fully equipped kitchen area for catering needs. Each space is furnished with seating, tables, and access to Wi-Fi, and select rooms feature audio-visual equipment to support presentations or training sessions. The centre is fully accessible, with convenient on-site parking and wheelchair-friendly amenities. Whether you're hosting a community event, a private function, or a club meeting, Marton Community Centre provides a welcoming environment for all.

Facilities
The Ayton Room.
The Ayton Room is our main hall in Marton Community Centre. This spacious 1,170-square-foot room is ideal for both seated events and standing gatherings. With enough tables to comfortably seat up to 40 guests and over 70 chairs available in a conference layout, the room can be arranged to suit various event styles, from workshops and meetings to receptions and seminars. A convenient service window to the kitchen allows for easy food and beverage access, making catering simple for larger groups. The room features a durable vinyl floor, built to withstand high traffic and easy to clean, ensuring a versatile space that’s ready for any occasion.
The Hamish Garrett Room.
This 567-square-foot room is an ideal setting for small to mid-sized meetings, training sessions, and workshops. With tables to comfortably seat 14 guests and additional chairs to accommodate over 25 attendees in a conference layout, the room offers flexibility to suit various event needs. It includes a projector and screen for presentations, a whiteboard for collaborative sessions, and a convenient service window to the kitchen for easy access to refreshments. The durable, carpeted floor enhances the room’s warmth and comfort, creating an inviting environment that’s both professional and practical.
The Staithes Room.
This 616-square-foot room offers a welcoming and adaptable space for meetings, workshops, and social events. With tables to seat up to 15 guests and seating for over 26 in a conference-style layout, it can be tailored to suit both intimate and larger group gatherings. The room is equipped with a projector and screen for presentations, and its mixed flooring of durable carpet and vinyl ensures comfort and resilience in high-use areas. Guests benefit from convenient adjoining toilet access, making the space especially suitable for longer sessions or family events. Additionally, the room includes access to a 999-square-foot fenced play area, ideal for events involving children or activities that benefit from outdoor space.
